Hi all! 2020 was quite the year for everyone and especially small business owners on the outer banks of North Carolina. But thankful we have our small little community bubble here as well.
Salty Hair Salon did what we thought was impossible in 2020. We expanded into a bigger space in the same shopping center, Bucaneer’s Walk Shops beside Capt’n Franks in Kitty Hawk near milepost 4. A new salon manager was hired along with 2 more new stylists! It was a shock we could make that all happen in the year of the Covid 19 pandemic. The outer banks is a special place to live in general but especially during these times. Thankfull to do hair here in our own little Kitty Hawk salon. We have so much support here from our OBX locals and those who visit the OBX annually on their vacation. Some even come from miles away just to get a haircut or color service with us. Crazy to think how dedicated our customers are here at Salty Hair that they would cross multiple state lines to experience their hair and beauty services with us. It makes us feel so special and that’s a success right there. We feel so sought out and honored to know so many great people here that have supported us these past 5 years.
