Happy New Year! Okay, so I’m a little late…please forgive me!
What a time to be alive and doing hair at Salty Hair Salon! We feel blessed going forth into another full year of business with the end of the year marking our 4th year. The Outer Banks truly has our heart and to own our own little beauty space on our favorite strip of sand in Kitty Hawk NC is a dream.
2019 was incredible and we have no doubt that 2020 will be anything less than amazing. It’s already bringing about joy and success thanks to you our wonderful guests and our employees and team!
As most of you know, we love to revamp and give Salty a fresh face lift each new year and this year we repainted and most importantly gave the stations a whole new look. We removed the rectangular mirrors, redid paint and drywall patching and put up circle mirrors and new cabinets with counters on top of them for our guests to rest their coffee / beverage of choice on and holders for our staff to put their tools in. It’s added an element of warmth and coastal living into the mix. One other huge update is our new styling chairs for each station! We went from old black chairs to new caramel vinyl chairs that add a boho feel and go well with our new look! Plus our guests love the comfort level they bring to their bottoms. :)

The Outer Banks is truly a special place and the fact that we get to be a Hair Salon here called Salty Hair is truly a dream. We mix our passion of love for the ocean and our home town with the latest hair trends and techniques in the cosmetology realm.
